True happiness

The Bible teaches that God is GOD (theos = placer) that is to say, to everything He gives a place. Never does anything happen for no reason at all – He has a purpose with everything (Prov.16:4). This applies, whether we consider it a positive (+) or a negative (-) experience. God makes every minus (frustration, sadness, pain, difficulty, loss, etc.) into a plus, because He is GOD.

Those who realizes that God is GOD and that He, therefore, is in control of everything, will glorify and thank Him. Even for the darkest moments, because those also He gives a place and purpose. He is the Potter and we are the clay. That knowledge puts us in our place: we are only creatures and He is the Creator. This awareness also makes us easy to get along withand mild mannered. Nobody has made himself, right?! So why grumble and complain? Thank GOD for his comprehensive plan, inclusive the situations or persons that give us a hard time! It is ideal that we are aware of what God can do with someone who realizes that God is truly GOD! That realization enlightens our minds and hearts. In the world, "positive thinking" means: think as if everything is positive. But whoever knows GOD, knows that everything IS positive. The only handicap, we as creatures encounter, is that we do not yet see anything (2Cor.5:7). But what prevents us, in advance, to rely on the word of the One who does know everything? On Him, who from the beginning already has proclaimed the end (Isa.46:10). That gives our mind direction and it also illuminates our hearts. It gives an incredible joy and hope for a bright future! God will not forsake the works of his hands. This is a guarantee on which everyone can blindly move forward. Why does He love us? Because we are HIS creatures!!!

Happiness is not far away, dear reader. Grace (= joy freely given) and peace are not found in a pill. Neither in working hard for it. Neither in lying awake, worrying. Acknowledge that God is GOD. That He will succeed with whatever He has in mind!

because, knowing God, not as God do they glorify or thank Him, but vain were they made in their reasonings, and darkened is their unintelligent heart.
-Romans 1 21-

seeing that out of Him and through Him and for Him is all: to Him be the glory for the eons! Amen!
-Romans 11:36-
